Introduction to our manufacturing environment
About the design, prototyping, and evaluation center
Our center was established in Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture in 1989 as the Yamanashi Office for the purpose of providing semiconductor-related data services.
Our company was established in 1983 to manufacture and sell insulating materials for semiconductor products, and has been developing and selling electronic materials for semiconductor back-end processes.
During a meeting with a customer regarding the development of new materials, we received a request from a customer in the research and development department to collaborate with us as a subcontractor for evaluation and measurement in parallel with material development. This led to the establishment of the place.
Since the Yamanashi Office was established, we have increased our facilities and expanded our factory in line with customer requests and trends in semiconductor product development, and are currently building an integrated response system that covers all semiconductor back-end processes to evaluation, testing, and analysis. We respond to the diversifying needs of our customers.
Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. We are located at the foot of Kitadake in the Southern Alps, northwest of the Kofu Basin surrounded by Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Yatsugatake. Mt. Fuji can be seen to the southeast from the factory, and the environment will be surrounded by rich nature, offering views of the surrounding mountains as well as the changing seasons.
At the Design, Prototyping, and Evaluation Center, we conduct post-processing of semiconductors (wafer backgrinding to packaging), various evaluation tests, and non-destructive internal analysis. For the prototyping process, we have equipment equivalent to a mass-production factory in a 1,000-class clean room, making it possible to assemble products with the same quality as mass-produced products. In addition, in line with recent power device development trends, we have introduced the latest vacuum formic acid reflow and wire bonder. For evaluation analysis, we have introduced power cycle testing machines, CT-X-ray equipment, etc., and are always equipped with equipment that is in line with the development trends of the time.
The Design, Prototyping, and Evaluation Center includes technology, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, and general affairs departments, and many of the employees are from Yamanashi Prefecture. In recent years, we have been actively hiring graduates from high schools and universities within the prefecture, and are providing support so that they can become full-fledged members of society and engineers. In addition, we are contributing to the sustainable development of Yamanashi Prefecture by actively converting part-time employees to full-time employees and promoting women to management positions.
